Sales Rep

Responsibilities
The Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales across ESSCO Truck & Equipment product lines, including rentals, equipment sales, service, and parts. This position focuses on developing new business, growing existing customer relationships, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction within the construction and equipment industries. You will manage an assigned territory, conduct daily sales calls and customer visits, and represent ESSCO Truck & Equipment in a professional manner.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining customer accounts using CRM software, introducing and demonstrating products as needed, keeping customers informed of new products and opportunities, attending training courses and trade shows, and advising management on day-to-day sales activities. This role supports and upholds ESSCO Truck & Equipment’s company culture.

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who have a minimum of four years of experience in equipment sales, strong sales communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with strong time management skills. A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. You must also have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Shop Welder

Responsibilities
Our shop welders are responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing heavy equipment and components. This position focuses on producing high quality welds on large machinery parts while following all safety standards, blueprints, and work orders. You will work with equipment components such as frames, buckets, arms, and attachments, using a variety of welding and fabrication techniques.

Additional responsibilities include performing MIG, Stick, Flux-Core, and TIG welding as required, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling metal parts, and reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings. You must also inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, maintain welding equipment and shop tools, assist with fabrication projects and modifications, and keep the work area clean and organized. This role requires strict adherence to all shop safety rules and the use of required PPE.

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED, with vocational or technical training and AWS welding or equivalent preferred. Previous experience welding heavy equipment or large structural steel is required, along with proficiency in multiple welding processes and the ability to read and follow technical drawings. You must be able to lift 50 lb – 70 lb, stand, kneel, and work for extended periods, and operate in a hot, noisy shop environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential. Bilingual skills are preferred.

Parts Counter Sales Associate

Responsibilities
The Parts Counter Sales Associate reports to the Parts Manager. This position is responsible for taking parts orders from customers and filling their orders as quickly as possible, assuring quick turnaround. The ability to keep orders organized and maintain communication with customers are critical elements for this position. This individual works out of our branch.

Requirements
Experience with construction equipment parts is helpful.

Small Tools Technician

Responsibilities
The Small Tools Technician reports to the Service Manager. This position is responsible for the repair of small tools and components, assuring excellent quality. The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose the source of any problems and complete repairs on small tools in a safe and timely manner are critical elements for this position. This individual works out of our branch.

Requirements
Success in this position requires a technical school certificate, and experience with construction equipment is required.

Diesel Truck and Heavy Equipment Technician

Responsibilities
The Diesel Truck and Heavy Equipment Technician reports to the Service Manager. This position is responsible for the repair of machinery and components, assuring excellent quality. The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose the source of any problems and complete repairs on heavy construction equipment in a safe and timely manner are critical elements for this position. This individual is based at our branch and may also make service calls on-site.

Requirements
Success in this position requires a technical school certificate, and experience with construction equipment is required. A valid New York Driver's License is also required.
